Medical Encyclopedia Adverse Reaction Report Adverse Reaction Chart Drug Label

ADRS (Adverse Drug Reaction Standard) Chart is a way to identify specific reactions that may occur more frequently with certain drugs. We recommend that you view the information on ADRS Chart to better understand how this chart is created. Note that the percent of adverse events is from the total reported events on the drug you are charting, NOT from the total number of people who took the drug.

Once the chart appears on your screen, you can click on the dots to reveal the individual adverse event terms. To compare between various factors, you can chart a drug by gender for example, where males ('M') is selected in the first chart, and females ('F') in the second chart. The secondary suspect drug allows you to see if certain drug combinations are associated with increased risk of adverse events. To see that, you can enter a secondary suspect drug in one of the charts and then compare the two charts. Note that in the second chart, you can check 'Select all'. This option allows you to create a chart of adverse events combined for all drugs in a quarter.
